The Carol Dining Chair in Walnut

The Carol Chair is a design completed in autumn 2021, the frame is made from bent American black walnut. I wanted to create a chair with a lightweight frame and that has a generous width and depth of seat for comfort.

The photographs show a set of twelves chairs made for a private client with the making number 301.
The walnut version is the larger of two sizes, with a broader and deeper book-matched seat.

I have also created The Carol Stool to complement this chair design. There is an image below showing both the stool and chair together.
